Blue Architecture is seeking a full-time Architect - Project Manager to join our team in Bremerton, WA.
Blue Architecture is a design-build firm that specializes in providing architecture, engineering, and project management consulting services. We are a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business with offices in the Pacific Northwest and in the Southeast. Remote work is also an option for certain roles. We work in teams, tackle exciting projects, and enjoy a stimulating and collegial environment.
The Architect - Project Manager will be part of the dynamic A/E Design team within Blue Architecture’s Design-Bid-Build operations. This team is primarily involved in the design of various project types within the Veterans Affairs Medical Center systems throughout the Western United States. The position collaborates with all other design discipline staff and will help build the team’s architectural design department.
Blue Architecture is seeking an Architect - Project Manager to run a variety of project types. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 plus years of experience working within an architectural firm and can design, produce, and manage projects from conception through construction. Available positions include full-time with benefits and 1099 contract employment. Typical assignments may include site visits, preparation of existing conditions drawings, creating architectural and interior design schemes, producing construction documents, and meeting with design team consultants.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Responsible for the design and creation of plans and blueprints from which buildings or structures are constructed
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Able to work closely with clients, engineers, planners, and other industry professionals
  • Assist in writing and designing sketches and renderings for Federal & Commercial Design Build Proposals
  • Adhere to all industry standards in design
  • Create architectural designs based on customer input and feedback
  • Occasional overnight travel
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working within an architecture firm
  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (preferred)
  • Excellent design & presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Technical knowledge of building envelope design
  • Working knowledge of the building codes
  • Experience managing consultant engineers
 
The pay Range is $95k to $115K DOE.
